Otakon 2023 – page 2
Okay, not gonna lie, most of the time I don’t even notice when a convention has a theme going for that year, which is kind of a shame since a LOT of them do, and seem to put a lot of effort into it. Heck, Otakon went so far as to repeatedly plug the efforts to get a bullet train built on on the East Coast, like, a lot. And in the end, all I took away from it was an idea for a Thomas the Tank Engine reference.
Also, just for the record, MOST of the time spent on the Metro this weekend wasn’t too terrible, which was a good thing since my hotel wasn’t anywhere NEAR the convention center. We just had the misfortune of getting caught in the middle of the Rush Hour exodus that evening. Oh, and speaking of not being anywhere near the convention center, this page started out as one part of a much larger one, the rest of which is comings shortly…
