(Historical Notes: Oh, quit blaming the Con Crud you big baby, these comics weren’t lackluster because you got sick.  But yeah, on this anti-climactic note, that’s it for Otakon.  Like, entirely.  That’s the other reason I’m so annoyed with Past Me over the quality of these comics, it also turned out to be the finale of Conventional Wisdom’s Otakon coverage.  I was already strongly considering dropping the con due to how expensive rooms were getting, so it’s not like I didn’t know this was a possibility.  I really REALLY should have build up the history this comic has with the convention just in case the worst happened, which it obviously did.  To be fair, I really WAS seriously looking at going back in 2020, but… well, I don’t even need to finish that sentence, do I?  But yeah, this was Conventional Wisdom’s tenth birthday, lackluster as it was.  I should have at least tried to throw some kind of photo-op birthday party for the comic, just to have something else to write about.  Like, I complain about the disorganization of the Digimon stuff but then can’t get anybody to show up for the Conventional Wisdom part and learn first hand how hard it is to organize an event, that kind of thing.  Or heck, just more of those “how times change” comics about Otakon itself that I keep wishing Past Me would have drawn.  That’s just the kind of thing I usually don’t think of until well after I get back home, which was all the more reason to stop trying to write everything during the con.

But still, that’s all the Otakon comics for the time being… aside from the Patreon comics, which really are a lot better than many of the public ones here.  MAN I need to hurry up and finish reposting these so I can get started on reposting those.)
