Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: If you’re not clear on what’s going on here, sometimes JAM Project or the like will have an American concert that’s SORT OF cross-promoted with Otakon, and happens the same weekend, but isn’t officially a part of the con.  Like, they know their target audience is at the con, so they try to bring the congoers over, but it’s still at another location and you have to buy a separate ticket.  I’ve already complained about how expensive just Otakon itself is, so you’d better believe I wasn’t spending any extra money on a concert somewhere else in town.  But in that moment, right at the peak of “The Hero!!”, I sure wanted to.)
