Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: I know I say this a lot, but I really do like how Otakon would traditionally show all the AMV Contest winners during Closing Ceremonies.  Like, not just read the names off of a list, but actually PLAY them for everyone.  Just hearing the names don’t really mean a whole lot to those of us who don’t wanna sit through the whole show.  And yeah, they had two sign language guys up on stage during everything: one who just translated all the song lyrics, and another who took it upon himself to fully jam out with every single track.  I mean, I guess if you move your arms in a coordinated fashion professionally, it’s only natural for dancing to be your thing, but MAN that dude got into it.  Even if I trusted myself to attempt full-on animation, I probably wouldn’t have been able to properly capture that sight.)
