Conventional Wisdom

Yeah… after the first (of several) Digimon cosplay shoots, a bunch of us ran down to Artist Alley (yes, again) to see how much Digimon stuff we could find. And, actually there was a LOT this year. I was quite impressed.

Still, it must have been kind of unnerving for any artist to suddenly look up and see this gaggle of cosplayers ogling the stuff.

(Historical Notes: This was happening before, but around this point I really started to notice that the scan quality of these pages were REALLY uneven.  I must have still been figuring out the settings of the new scanner, because there’d be one regular page in the properly high contrast, then the very next one is all faint and blurry and terrible.  You’d never guess it, but this sloppy doodle you’re looking at was VERY heavily edited.)
