Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Yes, this is basically the next step up from that comic about me taking pictures during the concert instead of just watching it… or a step back, if we’re looking at it from a technological standpoint.  Anyway, even at this late stage of the game, I was still trying to work as many band cameos in as possible in hopes of getting some cross promotion and added exposure going.  What’s funny is, looking at this page now, I have NO clue who this band even is.  I’m sure I could figure it out after a bit of digging… but I also don’t really care.  The fact that my motivations were so mercenary and self-serving proves I didn’t even care back then, either.  Honestly, I’m more impressed that Droste effect of cartoon me actually drawing myself.  That’s some quality copy/past powers, right there.)
