Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Look, compared to most nerds of my generation, I don’t have all that much nostalgic connection to Final Fantasy VII as a game.  Yeah, I know it and it was important to my getting into RPGs and all that, but I was never one of those weebs obsessing over Sephiroth or anything like that.  But MAN, that soundtrack still gets me.  Every, single, freaking, time.  Nobuo Uematsu owns a piece of my soul that I will never get back.)
