The ONLY thing that’s exaggerated for comedy here is the eloquent staffer, The Arcade literally had an excited crowd at the door, counting down the minutes until they opened it up. And yes, people literally did RUN in like little kids on Christmas morning.
AND EVERY PART OF THAT REACTION WAS ENTIRELY JUSTIFIED.
(Historical Notes: And this comes mere WEEKS after I did that comic making fun of people who line up to get into the Dealer’s Room. Hypocrite much?)
