THIS SUCKED, MAN. I mean, I brought my Nerf gun with me and everything. The main reason I brought the Gordon costume along was ‘cos it’s such a good costume for running around outside. I was REALLY up for another Nerf War… but after how sick I got last year, I just couldn’t take a chance on my wrecked throat getting worse. And yeah, I know it was nowhere NEAR as cold outside this year, so I probably didn’t have anything to worry about. Didn’t matter. I was NOT getting that sick again.
So, yeah, I was sidelined this year. Sad times, man. Sad times.
(Historical Notes: There’s a very 2020 joke about coughing and face masks to be made here… but everybody reading this AFTER 2020 would find it cringingly dated.)
