Yes, Charles did an entire panel full of insights on Japanese culture and history, and I chose to immortalize the one joke picture of a kitty hugging Godzilla. Well, it was that or expressing my amazement that it took over half the panel for him to finally get tired of sitting behind the table and start excitedly walking around.
But yeah, this is why this update took a little longer than usual… and is shorter than normal. It’s easy to crank out a lot of comics right away when the ideas fall in your lap fully formed. When you actually have to THINK about this crap, it kinda takes longer to put together. Dang it, I didn’t get into cartooning because I wanted to WORK…
