Conventional Wisdom

The real joke here is the implication that I ever have a gameplay strategy beyond “hit buttons really fast” in the first place. Why do you think I like 2D shooters and beat ’em ups so much?

(Historical Notes: ANOTHER thing I’ve said before, but my time actively keeping up with video games rapidly dropped off once the third dimension became common place.  Also, I’m always pretty bad at these games because conventions are just about the only time I get to play them.)
