Conventional Wisdom

Wow, can it be? Is this comic developing plot arcs? For it’s purely fictional characters? Why, this comic’s gonna turn into UnCONventional before you know it! (I wish, then people would actually be reading it!)

Costume comfort is no joke, though. There’s a reason I don’t do Gordon from Ninja The Mission Force much anymore: that camo ninja facemask is freaking HARD to breath in!

But yeah, I’d been thinking the levels of Homestuck cosplay at the past couple of cons were way lower than they used to be, but Ichibancon really turned that assumption on it’s head. In fact, it kinda made me rethink a few assumptions I’d made about the cosplaying habits of the younger generation…

(Historical Notes: Again, these attempts to do anything resembling an actual “story” just look WEIRD now.  Aside from feeling really forced, it’s also a LOT harder to even think about doing now that I stopped writing and posting all the comics one big bunch.  Also, add UnCONventional to the list of comics that mine have outlived.  See, that’s what having storylines gets ya.)
