Filler arc 20 – Digimon Tamers: Death and Rebirth
So, I originally had the idea for this page the last time I was doing Crazy Digimon comics. Alas, that was an… eventful time in my life, and I just didn’t have time to work on it. Fastforward to last night when I saw Evangelion 3.33 the first time. I couldn’t NOT dust the idea off.
…well, if I actually liked to sleep, I could not. This is probably the longest I’ve ever spent on a single CW page (over 11 hours) and I STILL plan on coloring this bad boy right after I take a nap. I’m gonna post that version on my deviantArt as soon as it’s done, so keep an eye out for that!
(Also, contextually, it’d make more sense to have a giant D-Reaper-Jeri face in the back, but let’s face it: Creepy Giant Calumon is waaaaaaaay funnier)
(Historical Notes: Oh yes, this time a color version most DEFINITELY happened, and it wound up being both one of my better selling prints and one of my personal all-time favorites.)
