…okay, yeah. Joke’s over. April Fools or whatever!

Actually, you know what’s funny? I was planning on doing a whole update full of obviously absurd comics like this one… and totally failed at it. I mean, I could just stick most of these comics into an actual convention update and I doubt anyone would notice. Even the “fake” stuff (me having cosplay/props I actually don’t, panels that I’ve never actually done) are still based on real, everyday convention ordeals (cosplay is inconvenient, panel hosting is awkward). Oh well maybe next year.

Oh, and if you want some REAL convention comics, I’ll be posting the extra Triad comics on Patreon later this weekend. And THAT’S not a joke!

(Historical Notes: That might be the quickest I’ve realized what’s wrong with an idea yet.  And the best part is, I didn’t even DO a ConCONcon the next year.  That’s the other problem with the original concept of ConCONcon, doing them in the old “all the pages all at once” was a whole lot of work for something that a lot of people wouldn’t even bother to read without a recognizable con name attached.  Doing them a week at a time made the workload a LOT easier to justify.)
