(Historical Notes: First of all, the weird visual set up for this page is basically me trying to visualize the fact that, yes, I really did only wander in to the last five minutes of the preceding panel. Or, more accurately, me using that as an excuse to try a weird visual idea that I don’t think really works all that well. It’s supposed to look like the panel is being rolled up, but none of the art is actually bending or being otherwise distorted. Not that anybody really cares, though, because DOGS USING FIGHTING GAME MOVES TO FIGHT BEARS. That anime has become a BIT more of a thing in the years since I wrote this, but not as much of a thing as it deserves to be.)
That last five minutes of Totally Lame Anime thst year was easily the best five minutes you could ever experience. That clip lives rent free in my head still.
It’d have been tempting to make one of those “Did i dream that, or did that really happen?” jokes in this context, but there is NO WAY my dreams are up to creating something like this.
