I kind of know how that dude feels, though. A part of me doesn’t feel like it’s “really” a con until I see at least one person cosplaying as Raul Duke. One of the best closet cosplays ever, right there.
…and let’s face it: I do wear this costume a LOT. Heck, it’s the only one I wore all weekend (I brought my Ninja the Mission Force costume, but forgot the belt that quite literally holds the whole thing together)
(Historical Notes: Now that Past Me brings it up, I actually don’t see Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas cosplay anywhere near as often as I used to. The times, they are a-changin’)
