In fairness, the costume wasn’t ACTUALLY on my floor, it was hung up in my closet. But given my well-documented feelings about the current state of the costume, it might as well have been in a gross heap on the floor. Yeah, it’s been a loooooooong time since I really invested any serious effort into some kind of new costume for myself.
Granted, there was also SOMETHING else interesting in the works, costume-wise, but you’ll just have to wait patiently to hear about THAT…
