Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Okay, I KNOW I’ve mentioned this before, but I really don’t care about fanstuff in Artist Alley or cosplay gear anymore.  The only reason I get excited in the Dealer’s Room is if they’ve got stalls selling used box sets and stuff like that, and even then mostly because seeing the stuff right in front of me is the only time the impulse to buy is strong enough for me to give in.  Yeah, I know I can probably find the same stuff online, but when I’m at home surfing the net, I know better than to actually pay money for anything.  I NEED places like Otaku Joe’s to give me the in-person push to actually buy anything ever. Oh, and as far as I can tell, they’re still around, so here’s hoping these guys keep pushing me to spend money I don’t have for a loooong time.)
