So, context: me and Kurt are trying to get things set up so that I could still run these panels even in the event that he can’t make it to a con. This resulted in our trying to run Shoujo Rock Heaven off my my “new” laptop… which you probably guessed from the punctuation isn’t actually very new at all. That didn’t work too well, eventually resulting the thing randomly shutting down in the middle of the panel. Thankfully, real life involved a lot less fires, and we had a more reliable laptop ready to plug in the moment that one failed.
But yeah, thanks to everyone who attended the panel and put up with our rampant unprofessionalism!
(Historical Notes: The irony is, as I write this in 2020, I finally DO have a completely reliable laptop in my possession… that I will never take anyplace, because it’s the ONLY computer I currently have.)
The good thing is we had backup, but it was a good idea to at least try something else at the time, in theory at least.
Yeah, this was right before that one Otakon where Me, Stefan & Viga ran Awesomely Bad in your absence, so I was really hoping to have a usable substitute computer. So much for THAT, huh?
