I’m not sure what it is, but the Raleigh Convention Center is just a WEIRD place to try and form a line. I’m not sure if it’s the levels that only exists as half-way points between other levels, the turns at odd places, or the stars that don’t seem to go anywhere. SOMETHING just seems to cause lines of people to twist in very unnatural ways in that place. It’s not even that there’s a lack of space, it’s just WEIRD space.

By the way, this is one of the few pages I managed to draw DURING the con rather than after. One look at those terribad lines and you’ll understand why I decided to wait until I got home to do the rest.

(Historical Notes: Just one more page I need to remember to come back to later, since I’d eventually revisit the M.C. Escher concept again, in a MUCH better fashion.)
