Conventional Wisdom

I REALLY don’t like trying to get myself together at the same time as everyone else in the room, so if I can’t get up in time to do so BEFORE everyone else, I’ll just wait around until things get a little quieter.

Straight up falling asleep isn’t usually the plan, though.

(Historical Notes: I’ve gotten even WORSE about this over the years.  It’s actually one of the lesser reasons why I drive to cons on my own so often, the inconvenience of crawling all over a van to find my stuff is still less than crawling all over a room full of other people.)
