I know I keep saying this. but that’s only because of how true it is. I got so use to just filling time at cons over the past year, it REALLY blindsided me just how fast the time flies when i;m actually hanging out with people I like to hang out with. Admittedly, it ALSO helped in this case that Ret-Con had no official Closing Ceremonies to be a “you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here” marker. That, and it was such a small event that there wasn’t anywhere near as much visible teardown as I usually see filling the halls on a Sunday afternoon. But still, I mostly point the finger at me being sociable for once.
Oh, and guess what? There’s only one more page of Ret-Con 2023 left, and it’s ALREADY INKED AND SCANNED INTO THE COMPUTER AS WE SPEAK! After weeks and weeks of these comics happing way slower than expected, we’ll FINALLY wrap things up in a timely fashion… just in time for Animazement to start next week. PANIC MODE INITIATE!
Peddling from the back of that tandem bike is harder than it looks. These things need a gear shift!
It’s also really hard to get anyplace on a bike where all the tubes are clearly not connected to each other. That takes SKILL!
