Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: Okay, I mentioned this in the notes for the previous ConCONcon set -including another one that takes place in a van, oddly enough- but this kind of comic demonstrates why the original gimmick for this series doesn’t really work.  The whole idea was that I’d go completely absurd and nonsensical in ways I never could while dealing with real life conventions… but I already CAN do that in the real life comics!  I mean, I already included Cthulhu more than once!  You really think I wouldn’t show a parking lot go all Voltron?  I’d just recently showed the Metro parking lot in Alexandria as an endlessly sprawling labyrinth from which there was no escape, which it demonstrably is not.  This right here isn’t weird at all.)
