Anime Weekend Atlanta 2015: Sept. 24th-27th
Oh boy, it’s AWA time again! Last year was a really good time, so let’s hope this year is even better. The fact that I won’t have a second convention the very next week makes it pretty likely!
Hopefully, the comics will be finished and online sometime next week, same as usual. What WON’T be the the same as usual are the handful of EXTRA comics that will go up for Patreon supporters a week later. That’s right: you kind, generous people who give me money for things will get TWO helpings of AWA comics! It only takes One Dollar A Month! Come on, you know you wanna!
(Historical Notes: So, the neon 80s cover for the previous AWA cover is probably more popular over all, but this is still one of my favorite Conventional Wisdom covers just for all the Georgia nostalgia I was able to cram into a single image. Also, that’s one of the better early experiments with photo backgrounds, right there. It feels more like the photo is being incorporated into the drawing rather than the other way around, which is a very different vibe from the more recent stuff.)
