Conventional Wisdom

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking: “That is so a Digimon Cosplay comic, and it’s a pretty decent looking one, too!” Yeah maybe, but it’s not what was SUPPOSED to go up this week. The PLAN was to keep doing full color comics of Digimon characters in decidedly non-Digimon outfits until Otakon… but there’s just no way that can happen. Remember how last week’s Utena comic was really only a third of what I’d intended to draw, but there wasn’t time for the rest? yeah, that’s just getting worse and worse. Basically, there’s no way I can draw any of those other comics I had planned and still finish all the other stuff I have to do before Otakon (which, ironically, includes drawing several OTHER full color Digimon pictures). Instead, I’ll just be doing the usual silly filler stuff and HOPEFULLY pick the Digimon cosplay theme up sometime later this summer.

…though considering how busy the the rest of the summer is actually gonna be, there’s no telling how that’ll turn out. *sigh*

(Historical Notes: See?  I TOLD you Past Me had jinxed it!  And to reiterate what I said a page or two before that, having a busy summer was only PART of the problem here; coming in a distant second to just feeling like a failure for not being able to stick it out in DC.  On a less depressing note, I severely altered the mascots’ dimensions to make them fit the Tamers designs better.  It’s a surprisingly not-terrible look for them, actually.)
