Conventional Wisdom

I mean, given what ultimately motivated this trip in the first place, it’s entirely reasonable to assume the end goal might have already closed.  Given the state of malls these days, would YOU put it past one to forget to update their website if a store suddenly shut down?  Besides, I’m a firm believer in the whole “expect the worst and you’ll never be disappointed” mantra, so I was fully prepared for the “story” of this trip to be that it had turned out to be a complete bust.  But no!  There the store was!  Open for business!  And it still feels extremely surreal!
