Suncoast Pilgrimage 2024 – page 2
No, seriously, it was SEVERELY rainy on the way down. Like, full on wall of water, zero visibility, “just follow the tail lights of the car in front of you and pray to God that they don’t abruptly vanish right in front of you” levels of rain. And just as a bonus, I used to live in the exact region we were driving through, so I knew perfectly well that it’s VERY flood-prone. Fun times. Somehow, even after all the various snow-related mishaps I’ve had getting to and from cons over the years, THIS wound up being the single worst visibility I’ve had on any trip for this comic. And again, I cannot stress this enough, it was all to visit a store in a mall. This is what good life decisions look like, folks!
Then again, by the time we actually got where we were going, it’d cleared up like nothing had even happened. So I guess we were SORT of lucky.
