Conventional Wisdom

You know, there was once a time when pretty much every single set of con comics I did necessitated at least one Charles Dunbar shout-out, due to how many panels I was attending.  That time is LONG past these days, seeing as how age is creeping up on all of us, and nobody goes to as many conventions or travels as far as we used to.  Still, it was neat that our paths crossed again after so many years (especially since I’m pretty sure the last time we were in the same place, I just slept right through it)

Also, this was a particularly interesting experience for me, because we had only just watched this movie at Anime Night a few weeks earlier, and all the reactions we had THAT time were still fresh in my mind.  There’s a whole added layer of fun when you have the whole anticipation aspect of knowing when one of “those” scenes is about to drop.
