Conventional Wisdom

I do want to state, just for the record, that I DID realize what I’d done before I actually made it down to the con floor itself… but only barely.  Look, there’s a LOT of hair stuffed under that wig cap.  With that much padding in the way, my head genuinely doesn’t feel much different with the wig on than it does it with it off.  At first.  Eventually, the itchiness does start to assert itself, but that takes a while to set in.
