Conventional Wisdom

Seriously, last week was INSANE. Usually, when I post a new set of con pages, it attracts some impressive traffic for, like, one day before slumping back into boringly average numbers. I’ve never seen such consistently awesome traffic for THAT long before. Thank you internet!

I do feel like I should apologize all the Gundam fans out there, though. My own knowledge of one of anime’s flagship titles is rather pitiful, so good luck trying to figure out what model of Gundam this is. I just randomly threw together elements from whichever pictures had the clearest view of the body parts I needed. In fact, I think three different models went into the head alone.

On a similar note, I feel I should also apologize to any guitar aficionados for drawing such a sloppy Gibson Les Paul. For shame.

(Historical Notes: I’m glad I never specifically mentioned the actual traffic numbers I was so excited about here, because while I can’t recall the EXACT figures off the top of my head, I do remember that they’d eventually look incredibly unremarkable in comparison to the stats the comic would eventually bring in.  And as I’ve mentioned before, I don’t even think SmackJeeves was properly filtering out bot traffic at this point, so those numbers probably weren’t even real people.  How DARE you be excited about something, Past Me!)
