Conventional Wisdom

Here we go again!  I know it’s technically been a long time since most of us have done ANYTHING convention related, but it’s been a REEEAAALLY long time since I covered two conventions within a month of each other.  Yet, here we are!  Cosplay America is one of several home grown North Carolina cons that I kept saying I felt weird about NOT attending, especially when I was heading out to other cons three states away.  Well, I’m finally checking it off the To-Do List!  And that’s pretty much the ONLY thing on my To-Do List this weekend, because unlike Animazement, I’m not got ANY panels or events or projects to take part in.  I mean, come on.  I’ve been wearing the same mad scientist costume for over a decade.  What on Earth could I possibly have to contribute to the programing of a COSPLAY convention?  Nope, I’ll just be wandering around, jotting down notes and taking pictures and flagrantly disregarding litter ordinances with my stacks of flyers.  If you see me around, say hi!  I’ve got more bags of free stuff to give away to anybody who asks!
