Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: No, seriously, they threw a LOT of stuff out at the crowd during Opening Ceremonies.  And this isn’t even a joke, I really don’t know where this random candy fell from.  But enough about the actual events at the convention that this comic is supposed to be about, you all want to hear me complain about minor artistic details!  As I was complaining about before, I could only manage to get one usable picture of the Main Stage, and had to re-use it here.  In this case, there REALLY shouldn’t be any real people in the photo if I’m gonna have a drawn character on top of it.  Dude, looks WAAAAAY out of place, but this was literally the only photo I had where you could make out the backdrop, so I had to use it again.  Grumble grumble artist complaints.)
