I’ve done a little free face painting thing at nearly every Animazement I’ve attended, but there just wasn’t time to get anything together this year. In some respects, it felt really weird… but on the other hand, I’ve gotten pretty used to running around all day at other cons, so trying to sit in one place all afternoon probably would have felt weirder.

On a more important note: does anyone else thing “READY FOR PRAISE” would make for a pretty dang awesome T-shirt?

(Historical Notes: FINALLY!  After SEVERAL false starts, we’ve reached the ACTUAL, REAL conclusion to the face painting saga… and I don’t even have anything to say at this point.  I used up all my thoughts and observations back on those previous years that I THOUGHT were the last ones.  Actually, I saw somebody doing free face painting in NC Comicon’s Artist Alley this year, and it just struck me as weird. …also, this reminds me that I’ve been meaning to have a “READY TO ACCEPT PRAISE” shirt appear in Far Out There for ages now, but I never remember to do it any time there’s an opportunity.  Gotta get on that…)
