Just to prove I’m not the ONLY one who gets crazy lost at conventions.

And I’m not exaggerating about the “no, this is really a road” bit. There’s this… glorified gravel driveway off Capitol that Google will apparently send the occasional poor soul down if they ask for just the wrong directions (I looked it up afterwards, and there isn’t even a name listed. Just “Unknown Road”. NEVER FOLLOW DIRECTIONS THAT INCLUDE “UNKNOWN ROAD” AT ANY POINT)

(Historical Notes: To try and do a better job of explaining, there’s a LOT of industrial buildings and warehouses and stuff with huge loading bays and parking lots in that area.  The GPS knew the road we were on and the road we were SUPPOSED to be on were connected by a string of these parking lots that were in turn connected by large driveways, all public and unrestricted, so it’d be silly NOT to cut across there to get back where we needed to be… but it was still SUPER disorienting to have happen when you weren’t prepared for it.  It really did feel a lot like that one Local 58 video)
