Animazement 2010 – page 12
Since I was just sitting around a lot Saturday morning, it seemed like a waste to not get SOME comics drawn. As you can see, though, it’s not as simple as staring at a piece of paper and shouting “DRAW!” This ended up being the last cartoon I drew at the con, everything else was drawn back at home. I think that’s for the best.
Just as a historical note, this is technically the first “real” Conventional Wisdom drawn with one of the mascots in it. Yoink’s page was drawn several days later, but I think it reads better put first. And now, a fact you had no interest in whatsoever has been implanted in your brain. Congratulations.
(Historical Note: HEY! You stop that, Past Me! I’M the only one who gets to write notes of a historical nature! None of this stuff was history yet when YOU wrote about it! Anyway, I weirdly miss being in positions where I could just sit around and draw during a con. These days I’m either too busy to sit around and do ANYTHING, or all my sitting around time is taken up with social media posts. That’s the unspoken cost of being able to post pictures right there after you take them. The cost is a lack of pictures of Scribbles riding weird things.)
