This year’s Animazement was probably the best convention food-wise I’ve ever experienced. Downtown Raleigh’s sprouted a LOT of new eateries since last year. However, we really ran those poor people ragged. I grabbed a sandwich at Jimmy John’s on Saturday, and the place was PANDEMONIUM. Yes, a worker actually did have to run outside and swap sandwiched with somebody. It was pretty good grub, though. I gotta give ’em that much.

(Historical Notes:  This is just one more reason why I don’t buy food at the con anymore.  Not only is it less expensive to just stash stuff in a cooler, but it’s significantly less anxiety-inducing… ESPECIALLY after you’ve actually worked at a restaurant.  Oh, and if you order turns out wrong, you’ve got nobody to blame but yourself.)
