We’ll dig into more of that first part later, but for now I want to expand on the rest. I know I’ve brought up this topic elsewhere, but it bears repeating: any time somebody walks up to me at a con to say “hi,” I feel like the reaction they get is far, FAR less than what they deserve.  Seriously, I’ve been doing this crap for the better part of two decades now, and it STILL doesn’t compute to me that there’s other human beings out there who actually take an interest in what I do.  So, to everybody who tracked me down at Otakon, thanks a ton.  And to everybody who COULDN’T track me down, I’m really sorry.  Given what we’ll get into later, some people might THINK I’d have been really easy to sniff out, but those people don’t understand how freakin’ GINORMOUS the Washington Convention Center truly is.  But yeah, hello in absentia!  Sorry we missed each other!
