Conventional Wisdom

There, see?  I don’t have to crap on EVERYTHING the con did… even if the lounge was cooler on account of the room itself than anything going on inside it.  But still, this was easily the coolest room in the whole hotel, and by amazing coincidence looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE THE REST OF THE HOTEL.  It almost looked like this place was left over from earlier incarnation of the convention center, like they’d remodeled the rest but left this one corner of the building alone.  Maybe I’m just projecting my memories of that weird abandoned club inside the Intervention hotel, but that’s totally what it felt like.

Also, full disclosure: I didn’t even still around listen to the Mega Man stuff for all that long.  I just wanted an excuse to do a comic inside the lounge because of how photogenic a location it is.
