See, this is what happens when I try to be more on top of things for a con: I just end up way more stressed out. Let that be a lesson to you, kids: NEVER TRY TO MAKE PLANS, In fact, I’d originally planned to make this a more elaborate, surreal page with Zilch, but the update was already super late and there just wasn’t time.

…okay, okay, I lied about making plans, plans are good. In fact, if you follow the Facebook page, you already know that I’m seriously thinking about starting a Patreon. It wouldn’t happen right away, but I could definitely use any feedback you might have for donation rewards and milestones and stuff.

At the moment, I’m thinking of giving everybody who pledges anything -even just a dollar a month!- access to an extra comic Conventional Wisdom each week (plus an extra Far Out There). But not the usual weekly filler, where I just draw whatever comes into my head. I’d make a list of anime to watch through and draw at least one comic based on each of those. Obviously, one of the perks of donating MORE than a dollar a month (I’m not sure about the specifics yet) would be the ability to add anime of your choosing to that queue. So if you ever wanted to force me to watch something you think I’d hate, this would be your chance! Other ideas have included deleted comic ideas, behind the scenes commentary, that kind of stuff. If you’ve got any other ideas you think I should consider, please let me know!

And, of course, there’s also the question of milestones goals, which seem pretty obvious where Conventional Wisdom is concerned: “If I get at least ______ a month, I can afford to go to _________ con!” I’ve had quite a few people ask me when Conventional Wisdom will finally start covering Dragoncon, and this would be a chance to make that happen!

So, yeah, something to think about over the next few weeks (or ask me about if you run into me at Otakon)

(Historical Notes: HAHAHAHAHA There was once a time I thought I might actually go to Dragoncon one day)
