Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: You know, for a guy who has regularly made preposterous daily drives to numerous cons over the years, it’s funny to hear myself make such a big deal about how little travel was involved in this “trip.”  Look, just because I’ll go ahead and do something doesn’t mean I can’t also appreciate not having to do it if I don’t have to.  Speaking of which, I was tempted to tag this page as “roadtrip” out of sarcasm, but I just new Future Me would get ticked off about it next time I actually have to find a REAL comic about travel.

Oh, and correct me if I’m wrong, but is this where I first started drawing Comic Me with the Scribbles plushie in my backpack as a regular thing?  I feel like I knew I wasn’t going to do much with the mascots in these comics, so I wanted to make sure I at least got Scribbles into some pages one way or another.)
