Conventional Wisdom

I shouldn’t complain TOO much. This is the kind of quality technology you get when your equipment budget consists of “asking nicely”. (This is the part where I subtly suggest that you could support me on Patreon and help change that)

But yeah, everything decided to wait until the week or two before the con to start breaking, because OF COURSE IT DID. So if you come to Awesomely Bad Japanese Music Videos and see a laptop with an actual fan sitting next to it to keep it from overheating, now you know why.

(Historical Notes: The panel did not, in fact, end up being run off of that laptop.  THANK GOD.  But you know what the sad thing is?  Out of all the terrible, hand me down laptops I messed with over the years, this one genuinely stayed working the longest.  Well, “working” is being a bit generous, but it technically functioned the longest.)
