Conventional Wisdom

LET’S JUST GET THAT ONE MAIN TAKEWAY FROM THE WHOLE WEEKEND OUT OF THE WAY RIGHT OFF THE BAT.

And it’s not like I haven’t worn a mask over the past year and a half, but WOW is it a different experience under convention conditions.  There’s a reason why, up till now, I’ve only had one costume that involved anything over my face.  And before anybody asks: yes, I had more than one mask, I didn’t just wear the same one for three days straight.  That’s not the problem here.  The problem is the general principle of me carrying my own tiny little turkish bath directly on my own face all weekend.  Charlotte in August was already gonna be sweaty enough BEFORE that.

Anyway, there’s a bit of admin to get out of the way as well.  I’ve been saying for ages that the Real Life con comics were going to be shorter than they used to be, and that I’d be doing them one page a week.  Well, I’ve already failed at the first bit.  The current round up of my notes says I’ve got twelve more QCAC 2021 comics to come after this (plus 6 more for Patreon) meaning it’d take me around three months to finally work my way through.  That’s just way too long, especially since I’ve still gotta finish up ConCONcon 2021 before the year’s over.  Thus, I’ll be posting new QCAC pages as soon as they’re done, whenever they’re done.  I’ll try to get at LEAST two done a week, but if I can manage more, I’ll certainly try it.  So make sure to follow all my social media to make sure you don’t miss any new pages as soon as they go up!
