So, yeah. This happened. If you don’t follow the Facebook page, you didn’t see me constantly bugging people about buying some of those prints I sent to Hoshicon then backing out at the last minute. Well, here’s why!

(Historical Notes: In retrospect, I’m glad this little scheme never came to fruition.  For one thing, I’m cynical enough now to fully expect that everybody I talked to about possibly buying a print would have no-showed.  But that’d probably have been for the best as well, as even THEN I should have known better than to advertise selling something at a convention without said convention’s permission.  Yeah, I tried to excuse myself by saying we’d meet up in hotel lobbies and do the sale there, but those hotels wouldn’t be any happier about this than the con would’ve been.  The only way for this to have been legit would have been for people to have Paypal’d me money in advance, with me just handing the prints over without any cash changing hand at the time… which would have been an AWFUL idea since then I’d have to give all that money back due to me not actually having anything to give.  Oh, and one more thing… that we’ll get to in a sec…)
