Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: No, seriously, once word got around that I’d moved back to North Carolina, I seriously did start getting requests to bring Cheerwine with me to more northernly cons.  And it’s still pretty hilarious when I have to talk about the underbelly of Maryland like it’s “The North.”  Anyway, this page is fairly obviously a bit too ambitious for the techniques I used to make it.  Not only was all this screen tone the wrong trick to rely on for the atmosphere, but there’s a certain trick I really should have used for the shady docks setting other than my own line art.  Gee, I wonder what THAT could be…)
