Katsucon 2009: February 13th-15th
After FAR too long, Conventional Wisdom returns! By the time this goes online, I’ll probably already be on my way to Katsucon in Washington DC. I can’t say for sure when the actual comics will be ready, but I’ll do my best to have a visual chronicle of my convention exploits up SOMETIME next week.
(Historical note: a comenter on DrunkDuck enlightened me via Wikipedia that Katsu is “is a type of shout that is used in Chán and Zen Buddhism to give expression to one’s own enlightened state.” Also, check out the pre-“LOGO” shirt I was wearing drawing myself in at that point. Maybe I should actually make one of those to serve as an alternate to the current LOGO shirt?)
