Hoshicon 2016 – page 7
This was one of the neat things about not having an Artist Alley table to worry about: I could actually attend panels OTHER THAN ONES I WAS HAVING TO RUN. Like, say Tony Oliver talking about working on the early days of Power Rangers.
Also, confession: I never watched Power Rangers as a kid, and 95% of what I know about the show now comes from watching Linkara’s videos on the subject. But I still totally own Ron Wasserman’s album of Power Ranger songs because HOLY CRAP THOSE SONGS ARE SO AWESOME.
(Historical Notes: Past Me focuses on going to other people’s panels AT ALL, but in retrospect the biggest rarity here was going to panels by actual GUESTS. Usually, even when I do get around to a panel I’m not working on, it’s either one somebody I know is running or some fan panel about something I like. It’s surprisingly rare for me to actually go to anything by anybody in the industry itself. It’s like I don’t actually care how the sausage is made anymore!)
