I… really don’t have anything to add to this… other than the fact that, honestly, the only thing that surprised me was how unsurprising I was to hear that.

(Historical Notes: This comic doesn’t really communicate the funniest part of this conversation… the fact that this WAS the entire conversation.  Like, I was minding my own business in the hall, he comes power walking by like a staffer is wont to do, drops this one line on me with no context whatsoever, and HE GONE.  That bewildered moment afterwards of trying to process it was probably even funnier than the bit itself.)
