Conventional Wisdom

It’s a pretty accurate representation of how I’m feeling right now. I just don’t do heat well, it’s a scientific fact, so the past 48 hours have left me… well, the comic’s pretty accurate. In fact, I honestly forgot that there was still a page due until about 11:30 Tuesday night.

The sad thing is, I actually had a pretty cool comic idea involving the 4th of July festivities, but I had neither the time nor inclination to do something so elaborate right now. Stay tuned for next week.

(Historical Notes: You need to understand that, when I moved in, there was only one AC unit in the apartment, and it was in the OTHER room.  So for the majority of summer 2011, I just had to grit my teeth and try not to have a heat stroke.  Eventually, somebody else in the building threw out an old AC that turned out to still work, so that kept me alive until the summer finally passed.  And since I’m well documented to be part Frost Giant, I didn’t need anything keeping me warm during the winter.)
