Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: YES, I ACTUALLY DID IT AGAIN.  I don’t wanna say too much here, because Past Me tries REALLY HARD to justify this awful, awful decision in the coming few pages.  All I’ll do now is direct anybody who doesn’t already know back to the FIRST time I pulled this stunt, so we can all marvel at how long it takes me to learn my lesson.)
