Conventional Wisdom

(Historical Notes: First of all, obligatory link to the comic being referenced here.  Second, MAN I just could not shut up about how I wasn’t working Artist Alley anymore, could I?  I think Past Me thought it was all an elaborate ploy to convince more people to drop me a dollar on Patreon, but looking back now it’s painfully obvious that the “sarcastic, satirical parody” in stuff like this was waaaaay more genuine than I wanted to admit.  I was really, REALLY sore over how little of a return I was getting out of all those hours spent behind a table… and I still am, to be honest.  Hopefully Present Me has at least figured out how to be butthurt in a manner that’s a little less pathetic-looking.  There’s nothing like screaming “I DON’T EVEN CARE!” to prove to everyone that you really care a whole lot.)
